Roadmap

What’s next. What just shipped.

One ordered list, highest-leverage first. Items move down to “recently shipped” the day they land — this page updates the same day. The roadmap reflects the working backlog, not a sales commitment.

01Working order· highest leverage first
01

Conversational draft refinement

Next
new POST /api/draft/refine · annex-markdown chat affordance

A chat box on the draft pane that takes attorney instructions (“make the SFGI section more conservative”, “shorten Section 4”) and re-streams the draft. Blocked on a prompt-injection guard pass.

02

Sentence-level citation tracking

Next
JSON-mode draft → per-claim chunk_ids → Word footnotes

Footnotes attach to individual sentences instead of paragraphs; reader can trace every claim to its source from inside the .docx as well as the UI.

03

Firm-playbook prompt overlay (server-backed)

Next
user_settings table · keyed by Supabase user_id

House-style instructions layered on the base draft prompt. v1 ships localStorage-backed; promote to D1 now that auth has shipped so a playbook follows the user across devices.

04

Part 850 corpus ingest + Treasury date extractor

Planned
corpus/parsers/ · outbound citations

Outbound-investment screening is wired but citations come back empty until 31 CFR Part 850 is ingested. ≈4 0 Treasury chunks also lack valid_from. Blocks freshness on the outbound side.

05

Citation freshness watcher

Planned
extends the daily change-detection cron

Scan valid_to on any chunk cited in the last 30 days of query_audit_log; alert when a cited regulation is amended. Small, high-value — protects against silently relying on superseded text.

06

Eval re-runs

Planned
classify ($3) · retrieval w/ decomposition · v2 mini → 15 cases

Confirm classify top-1 hasn’t regressed from 0.84 after HyDE / posture changes. Measure hard-tier P@1 lift from query decomposition (currently 0.30, feature behind a flag). Expand mini eval from 5 to 15 cases.

07

Mitigation precedent surface

Larger / deferred
CFIUS annual reports + public excerpts · indexed by issue type

Show the mitigation precedents (data, supply chain, board composition, etc.) most likely to apply to a given filing recommendation. Multi-week effort once corpus gaps close.

08

Conflict walls + team workflow

Larger / deferred
permission model on matters · cross-user visibility rules

Auth and server-backed runs shipped; next is the permission layer that lets attorneys at the same firm share matters without seeing each other's deal data. Required before any AmLaw rollout.
